Contract notice for the “Egnatia Motorway Vertical Axis Thessaloniki – Moudania – Potidaia: upgrading-widening of the road section N. Moudania-Potidaia extending from Ch. 0+000 to Ch. 4+200 (58.4.1).

The EGNATIA ODOS A.E. hereby announces the tendering of the works pertaining to the road section N. Moudania-Potidaia, 4,2km long, of an estimated contractual sum of €18,967,479.68 (exclusive of VAT); the expiration date for the receipt of tenders or participation requests shall be 21/8/2012, at 10:00am.

The main scope of the contract is the upgrading-widening of the road section Moudania-Potidaia along the Vertical Axis of the Egnatia Motorway “Thessaloniki-Kassandreia” in the Regional Unit of Chalkidiki. The upgrading-widening works concern the conversion of the existing single carriageway into a dual carriageway with two traffic lanes per direction and a median guardrail. The length of the section is 4.2km starting from Moudania IC. The contractual scope also includes the following:

The completion of the IC1 and the construction of the service road network, which consists of: a) the left service road, b) the right service road, and c) local roads, ancillary roads servicing road-side properties and link roads to restore access to road-side properties, as well as works for the smooth integration with the existing road artery.

The contract time or completion deadline is thirty-six months from the award of the contract.
