| See the map | The axis Ardanio – Ormenio is of strategic importance and also the main link with Bulgaria. This axis is also part of the Trans-European Transport Network, and the ending of Pan-European Corridor IX in the Greek territory.
It is a closed motorway and is being constructed as 12/14m-wide single carriageway with one traffic lane and a hard shoulder per direction.
The axis has a total length of approximately 124 km and includes the following sections:
